Welcome to Thoughtfully Crafted!
Thoughtfully Crafted is a creative platform where I explore and respond to community-rooted, socially engaging, and traditional art forms from around the world. With every post, I don’t just share research or inspiration, I actively create original project outcomes inspired by these practices. These works aim to celebrate, promote, and give space to creative expressions that reflect social, cultural, community, and environmental concerns.
This site is a growing archive of ideas, responses, and reflections, a space where design meets real-world context, and creativity becomes a way to engage with the world more thoughtfully.
With Love,
Serena
About Me.
Hi, I'm Serena, a London-based graphic designer and graduate from Central Saint Martins, taking my first steps into the creative world. My work centres on visual storytelling through branding, illustration and typography, with a focus on how mood, tone and narrative influence the way design is experienced. I’m deeply inspired by design that engages with social, cultural, community and environmental concerns - work that goes beyond aesthetics to connect meaningfully with the world around us. I curated 'Thoughtfully Crafted' as a means to use design to respond to the world around me - creating original project outcomes that are inspired by and celebrate meaningful forms of artistic and cultural expression.

The programme equipped me with a high level of design knowledge, both theoretical and practical, and I graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours.
I engaged in relevant coursework and developed key creative skills. The program emphasised responding to briefs through research-driven ideation, creative exploration, and the application of fundamental design principles.
